All Saints’ Day Remembrance

Sunday November 3rd @ 8:00 am & 10:30 am

We wanted you to be the first to know! You are appreciated as a vital member of St. Paul’s. Yes – you!

Upon becoming members we all vowed to support our church with our prayers, our presence, our gifts and our service. Every time we act on one of these vows we enrich our church community.

All members (saints) are therefore invited to join us on All Saints’ Day to celebrate all Christian saints, known and unknown. This is a day for all of us to give thanks for as many Christians from the past as we can remember, especially if their lives and teaching contributed something special to ours. A bell will toll for each church member who died this past year. Non-member friends and relatives may have their names placed in a special memory book. Everyone will have the opportunity to light a candle in special commemoration of their loved ones. We give God solemn thanks for the lives of these individuals and celebrate Christ’s victory over death!

All Saints’ Day is the festival day which reminds us of our connectedness as Christians. We hope you will join us for this celebration as well as invite friends, relatives and neighbors who lost a loved one this year. Special invitation cards will be available in the pews during the entire month of October.
